The seed for STORIES Parfums was planted during a season of personal healing, a time when I found myself disconnected from my own story. I had spent years pushing pain into silence, unsure of my voice, my worth, or what I had to offer the world. Like many of us, I carried wounds that were never really spoken.

Then one day, something changed. In the quiet of Grasse, France, the birthplace of fine fragrance, I was introduced to the world of perfume. Not as a beauty product, but as a language. A new way to feel. I was invited to close my eyes and smell, with no labels, no branding. Just scent.

A Childhood Rediscovered Through Scent

One particular blend hit me like a wave. It was earthy, clean, and just a little bit green. Tears filled my eyes before I could name what I felt. And then it came to me: a memory of my grandfather’s greenhouse. I was five years old again, standing on tiptoe, watching the light filter through glass panels dusted with soil. The smell of tomato vines, wet earth, and sun-warmed skin. The joy of simplicity. The safety of being seen.

That moment changed me. I had spent so long forgetting. Fragrance helped me remember.

It wasn’t just nostalgia. It was a reclamation. A bridge back to the parts of me I thought were lost.

This is why I created STORIES Parfums, not to sell perfume, but to give others what I had been given: a way to find themselves again.
