STORIES Nº.01 opens luminous — bergamot and grapefruit catching the light, softened by green fig and the dewy coolness of cyclamen. Beneath the brightness, a magnificent heart unfolds: deep, warm cedarwood embellished with jasmine, powdery heliotrope and the quiet sophistication of English tea, all wrapped in the honeyed glow of orange blossom. As it settles, the fragrance reveals its soul — precious amber, vibrant sandalwood, earthy vetiver and the soft sweetness of tonka. The uplifting story of sorrow transformed into beauty, of the dark yielding to the light.

Eau de Parfum at 20% concentration. Curated in Grasse, rooted in Ireland. Made to be worn intuitively, never assigned a gender.

Opening

• Bergamot — bright citrus with a bitter green edge. More elegant than orange.
• Fig — green and milky at once, the leaf and the fruit. Creamy, never sugary.
• Cyclamen — cool, dewy and faintly aquatic. Reads as fresh air more than flower.
• Grapefruit — sparkling, bitter and a little tart. Brighter and sharper than lemon.

Heart

• Cedarwood — dry pencil-shaving wood. Clean and structural rather than sweet.
• Jasmine — rich, heady white floral with an animalic edge. It adds body and glow.
• Heliotrope — powdery and almond-sweet, with a hint of vanilla. It softens the heart.
• English Tea — dry, tannic and quietly bitter. It adds restraint and sophistication.
• Orange Blossom — honeyed and luminous, with a green bitter edge. Sunlit, not sweet.

Dry down

• Sandalwood — creamy, milky wood. Soft and rounded; the warmth people call comforting.
• Amber — warm, soft and resinous. An accord rather than a single material.
• Vetiver — dry, smoky root. Earthy and grassy, a cool counterweight to the woods.
• Tonka Bean — almond, hay and vanilla. Rounds the dry down without making it a dessert.

Prepare the skin first. Cleanse with the STORIES Nº.01 Hand & Body Wash, then work the STORIES Nº.01 Hand & Body Lotion into the skin while it is still warm. Fragrance molecules need something to hold onto: on dry skin they evaporate, on hydrated skin they bind, evolve slowly and last.

Then the Eau de Parfum. Mist STORIES Nº.01 onto pulse points — behind the ears, the base of the throat, the inner elbow, the wrist — or into the hair, where it diffuses through the day.

Do not rub, dab or press. Friction generates heat, which breaks the molecules apart and disrupts the dry down. Let it settle on its own.

Travelling with it. Because the bottle is refillable, the top is a screw fitting rather than a sealed crimp. Keep it in its box when you pack.
