STORIES Nº.02 opens warm and spiced — bergamot lifting into Bulgarian rose, the heat of ginger and cardamom softened by a cool breath of green tea. From that radiant opening an opulent heart unfolds: vibrant cedarwood and patchouli, honeyed tobacco smouldering at its centre, sprinkled with tonka bean and the resinous depth of opoponax. As it settles, the fragrance reveals its soul — enchanting amber, rich musk, creamy sandalwood and the slow sweetness of vanilla. An invitation to walk among the flowers and recover what has been lost.

Eau de Parfum at 20% concentration. Curated in Grasse, rooted in Ireland. Made to be worn intuitively, never assigned a gender.

Opening

• Bergamot — bright citrus with a bitter green edge. More elegant than orange.
• Bulgarian Rose — deep, honeyed and faintly spiced. Far less powdery than a garden rose.
• Ginger — fizzy, warm and clean. Heat without the sweetness of the spice rack.
• Green Tea — cool, leafy and pale. A breath of air that stops the spice turning heavy.
• Cardamom — cool and green with a peppery warmth beneath. It lifts and sharpens.

Heart

• Cedarwood — dry pencil-shaving wood. Clean and structural rather than sweet.
• Patchouli — earthy, damp and dark, with a cocoa-like richness. It grounds the florals.
• Honey Tobacco — cured leaf and dark honey. Smoky-sweet, never ashy.
• Tonka Bean — almond, hay and vanilla. Rounds the dry down without making it a dessert.
• Opoponax — sweet myrrh, balsamic, resinous and faintly liquorice. Depth and shadow.

Dry down

• Amber — warm, soft and resinous. An accord rather than a single material.
• Musk — soft, clean and skin-like. A cruelty-free synthetic that carries the rest.
• Sandalwood — creamy, milky wood. Soft and rounded; the warmth people call comforting.
• Vanilla — slow, sweet and resinous. Comfort, and usually the last thing to fade.

Prepare the skin first. Cleanse with the STORIES Nº.02 Hand & Body Wash, then work the STORIES Nº.02 Hand & Body Lotion into the skin while it is still warm. Fragrance molecules need something to hold onto: on dry skin they evaporate, on hydrated skin they bind, evolve slowly and last.

Then the Eau de Parfum. Mist STORIES Nº.02 onto pulse points — behind the ears, the base of the throat, the inner elbow, the wrist — or into the hair, where it diffuses through the day.

Do not rub, dab or press. Friction generates heat, which breaks the molecules apart and disrupts the dry down. Let it settle on its own.

Travelling with it. Because the bottle is refillable, the top is a screw fitting rather than a sealed crimp. Keep it in its box when you pack.
