Most candles are designed to smell the same from the first burn to the last.
Ours are not.
At STORIES Parfums, we believe fragrance should behave the way it does on the body — unfolding in stages, revealing itself over time, and leaving a lasting impression that feels personal rather than overpowering.
That belief led us to create our candle trios: three candles, each built like a fine fragrance, designed to be experienced alone or layered together to create fragrance throughout the home.

How the Candle Trios Work
Each trio is composed in the same structure as an Eau de Parfum:
- Top notes to lift and open a space
- Heart notes to bring depth and character
- Base notes to ground and linger
Each candle contains up to 12 perfume notes. This is what allows fragrance to develop gradually with every burn, rather than presenting a single, flat aroma.
Burn one candle to experience a single layer. Burn all three together to create a complete composition that moves gently through your space, leaving an olfactory trail as you move from room to room.
STORIES Nº.01 Candle Trio
Light, floral, grounded.
Candle 1 — Citrus
A bright opening designed to lift a space.
Bergamot, Grapefruit, Sandalwood, Vetiver, Fresh Air, Dry Wood, Lovage Leaf, Cotton, Lemon Peel, Basil, Cedar Leaf, Linden Blossom.
Light and citrus-led, with a subtle woody base to ground it. The bergamot is an organic Sicilian oil, while the vetiver — also organic — is sourced from Haiti, bringing clean structure beneath the freshness.
Candle 2 — Floral
The heart of the trio, soft and quietly complex.
Orange Blossom, Cedarwood, Jasmine, Heliotrope, Amber, Sandalwood, Celery Seed, Galbanum, Ambroxan, Juniper Leaf, Hydachieum, Geranium Leaf, Rose Oxide.
A light floral composition with herby and woody nuances, smoothed by the warmth of amber. Celery seed oil adds a distinctive green character. Hydachieum brings a balsamic depth that is rarely used in modern candles.
Candle 3 — Woody
The base layer, designed to linger.
Grapefruit, Fig, Black Pepper, Vetiver, Amber, Vanilla, Labdanum, Cypress, Oakmoss, Grass, Cinnamon Leaf.
Slightly fruity-woody with gentle spice, settling into a dark, resinous finish. Fig is reworked here with deeper vanilla notes and resinous labdanum — a heritage ingredient used in perfumery since Roman times.

Rich, spiced, enveloping.
Candle 1 — Rich
A dark floral opening with warmth and sweetness.
Rose, Honey, Tobacco, Cedarwood, Tonka Bean, Frankincense, Amber, Chocolate, Grass, Oakmoss, Oud.
Rose and chocolate form a classic pairing, balanced by frankincense and resinous oud. The result is rich but never overly sweet — warm, enveloping, and deeply comforting.
Candle 2 — Spice
The heart of the trio, warming and invigorating.
Ginger, Patchouli, Cardamom, Vetiver, Honey, Amber, Dry Wood.
A deep, incense-led spice blend with warmth and subtle heat. Each ingredient stands strongly on its own, but together they create a composition that feels both comforting and energising.
Candle 3 — Musk
The base layer, dark and grounding.
Black Pepper, Pine, Honey, Cedarwood, Frankincense, Vanilla, Musk, Oud, Fresh Air, Tomato Vine, Wet Earth.
Musky and earthy with a soft sweetness beneath. The pine oil, sourced from Russia, brings a cool, balsamic quality — green, woody, and balanced against the warmth of musk and the sharpness of black pepper.

Familiar, But Not Identical
The candle trios are inspired by our fragrances — they are not designed to replicate them exactly.
Some notes are adjusted to suit the way fragrance behaves in air rather than on skin. This creates something recognisable, yet personal.
A fragrance for your home that becomes known as part of you.
Crafted with Intention
Each trio includes three refillable candles, totalling 210g, with up to 75 hours of burn time.
Designed to be refilled, not rushed.
- Hand-poured in the UK in small batches
- Responsibly sourced blend of soy, coconut, and rapeseed wax
- Vegan, cruelty-free, GMO-free, palm-free
- Natural 100% cotton wick, free from lead or added impurities
Nearly 98% of production waste is recycled, excess wax is reset for future use, and emissions are offset monthly through Ecologi. Small-batch production helps reduce the energy demands of large-scale manufacturing.
