STORIES Parfums introduces a gender-inclusive (unisex) fragrance collection crafted for individuals who value the essence of exquisite perfumery.

Looking back to the origins of perfume-making, scents were originally created for universal enjoyment, transcending gender boundaries. The division into masculine and feminine fragrances emerged much later as a marketing ploy. Given that fragrance is a deeply personal expression, why should we confine ourselves to predefined categories? When you discover a scent that resonates with you, embrace it wholeheartedly!

At STORIES Parfums, we champion the concept of beauty without limits. While we draw inspiration from traditional techniques and ancient artistry, our philosophy embodies a contemporary outlook. Our brand is intuitive, inclusive, and readily accessible, refusing to pigeonhole our fragrances based on gender or conventional labels; we believe in empowering individuals to tell their own unique stories.

Let's set aside biases and engage with fragrances on a profound level, focusing on how they make us feel and the memories they evoke. We all carry preconceived notions about certain scents or notes, and my mission is to break down these barriers, enabling people to connect with their personal narratives - past, present, and future - all through the power of scent.

Scientifically proven, our sense of smell is the most powerful of all our senses, our sense of smell is intricately linked to our olfactory memory. Scents have a direct pathway to the regions in our brain associated with emotions and memories, making fragrance a powerful trigger for recollections.

When you come across a note or ingredient in a perfume, you may instinctively form a positive or negative impression before even experiencing the scent. I aim to provide a space where individuals can explore perfume without preconceptions. This is why our bottles are numbered, allowing the fragrances to speak for themselves and enabling wearers to focus on the sensations and emotions evoked by the scent, be it a physical feeling, a visual image, or a color... there is no right or wrong way to experience a fragrance.

Deeply intertwined with memory and mood, our sense of smell has the ability to captivate, inspire, and transport us in an instant. Every time I spray STORIES Nº.01 and STORIES Nº.02, I undergo a different emotional journey. One day, it might evoke memories of carefree childhood days spent in a garden, while the next, it might invigorate me with a sense of confidence and empowerment.

STORIES Nº.01 narrates MY story of hope rekindled, joy rediscovered, and of the  darkness giving way to the light. Inspired by my own personal discovery of how powerful our sense of smell is and how it brought my own personal healing of once lost childhood memories that had been overshadowed due to trauma. Whilst working with fragrance I found self-discovery, and happiness, and my opening chapter of STORIES encapsulates fresh beginnings; lightness, satisfaction, and vitality.

The fragrance unfolds with uplifting citrus notes of Bergamot, Grapefruit & Orange Blossom, the comforting warmth of cedarwood, a delicate hint of Jasmine, Heliotrope, and Fig. Its enigmatic character is unveiled through a fusion of Amber, vibrant Sandalwood, and a touch of Vetiver.

STORIES Nº.02 beckons you to stroll through a garden, kick off your shoes by the river, and reclaim lost treasures. Inspired by playful moments in my grandfather's rose garden, where pots of patchouli and the scent of wet earth lingered in the air. The fragrance captures the essence of the river at the garden's edge, mingling with wet leaves, dry woods, and the familiar aroma of tobacco from his pipe.

The composition begins with notes of Bulgarian rose, spiced with ginger, cardamom, and green tea. Honeyed tobacco undertones harmonise with cedarwood at the heart of this woody scent. Opopanax, tonka bean, and patchouli enrich the fragrance, while amber and musk leave a lingering impression.

I meticulously crafted each of these fragrances to embody inclusivity and warmth at the core of our brand - positioning STORIES Parfums as a trailblazer in the 'new niche' of perfumery, uniting luxury and sustainability through an intuitive, inclusive, and sustainable approach. Every element of our creations - from the labels to the packaging - carries its own narrative, allowing us to leave a minimal environmental footprint.
