Tonya's Top Ten

Today I'm sharing a few of my Favourite Things outside the world of fragrance,  including several that smell divine, of course! I've always been passionate about fashion, beauty and supporting other women in business, so it was a real challenge narrowing this list down to ten. I may have doubled or tripled-up in some categories, oops!

Enjoy - and do let me know if we have any mutual loves.

BEAUTY

  1. Medik8 & Perricone MD Skincare

Known as the scientific anti-ageing brand that thinks like a natural one, Medik8's award-winning products are beautifully formulated, eco-friendly and effective. You honestly can't go wrong.
MD skincare is a professional range made with highly concentrated active ingredients designed to give dermatologist level results at home. It's also cruelty free, vegan and 'junk-free.'
  1. A Luminous Base

I've been using Trinny London BFF Skin Perfector year round since it launched and love it for the ultimate luminous glow. Great worn alone or under makeup, it evens out my skin thanks to Porcelain Flower extracts, while protecting with SPF30.
Hourglass vegan and cruelty free makeup is made with sophisticated, skin enhancing formulas encased in luxurious packaging. My personal favourite is the Illusion Hyaluronic Skin Tint SPF15, a skin-plumping tinted moisturiser that delivers the ultimate luminous glow.
  1. Drunk Elephant Cleanser

Drunk Elephant's skincare range is crafted with high-quality, biocompatible ingredients designed to support the skin’s delicate barrier. I'm a particular fan of the Slaai Make up Melting Butter Cleanser, with antioxidant-rich fruit extracts and nourishing marula, baobob and kalahari melon oils.

4. ORIBE GOLD LUST REPAIR & RESTORE SHAMPOO AND CONDITIONER

This decadent duo by Oribe leave my hair at its smooth and glossy best. Made with time honoured oils and extracts such as cypress, argan and maracuja, it is a treat for the senses, filling my bathroom with the most beautiful aroma. (Also, those bottles!)

    FASHION

    1. High Street - Massimo Dutti

I love to blend High Street and Designer fashion and Massimo Dutti is a long term favourite for superb quality and cuts at affordable prices.

    1. Designer - Isabel Marant, Chloe & Donna Ida

Top fashion designer was probably my trickiest pick of all as there are so many I could choose from - but managed to narrow it down to three!
Isabel Marant for pieces imbued with Parisian bohemian femininity, Chloe for its luxuriously crafted, yet effortless timeless designs and Donna Ida as the Queen of Denim.
    1. Donna Ida Jeans

Just because she deserves a category all of her own.... I've been wearing Donna Ida's jeans for years and am a particular fan of the FRAN X KATE THE HIGH TOP PATCH POCKET RELAXED WIDE LEG | BRIAR ROSE. I'm currently loving the pink for Spring, which you may have spied on my Instagram recently! Sophisticated, elegant and oh-so-flattering, they make me feeling amazing, which is what we all want from a pair of jeans, right?!

    INSPIRATION & ENTERTAINMENT

    1. Sheerluxe

Sheerluxe is an online lifestyle magazine featuring the very best fashion, beauty and home edits. My go to for the ultimate shopping tips with both steal and luxe inspiration, you'll regularly hear us cooing over the latest drops in the STORIES office.
    1. Podcasts - Sheerluxe / How to Fail - Elizabeth Day / Outspoken Beauty / Secrets of Side Hustle

I love a great podcast as I can listen to them on the go, whether walking my dogs, working out or travelling - these are a few of my regulars...

    • How To Fail With Elizabeth Day - how we can learn from failures with brilliantly motivational interviewees.
    • Outspoken Beauty - the best of beauty, from fragrance to skincare (I was delighted to be a guest last year!)

    1. Book - The Road Back to You - An Enneagram Journey to Self Discovery by Ian Morgan Cron & Suzanne Stabile

The Road Back to You is a life changing read with a deep dive into spiritual self discovery and exploration of how and why people think, feel, and act the way they do. Highly recommend.
