CHAPTER 1: A Journey Through Memory and Fragrance

Some stories take time to tell, and even longer to understand.

Today, I’m sharing something deeply personal—the journey that led me to create STORIES Parfums. It’s a story that began long before I ever imagined launching a fragrance brand.

Where It All Began

For years, I was a stay-at-home mum of four, completely devoted to raising my family. When my youngest two—who are twins—started growing up, I realised I needed to find something for myself. Something that sparked creativity and gave me space to explore something new.

That search led me to Grasse, France, the world’s perfume capital. At first, I thought I was simply going to learn about the art of perfumery and create my own bespoke scent. But what happened there was so much more than that.

It was life-changing!

Scent has a way of transporting us to places we’ve long forgotten. While working in Grasse, I started experiencing memories I hadn’t accessed in years. It was the first time I truly understood how fragrance can awaken something buried deep within us—a past emotion, a place, a story waiting to be told.

That moment changed everything!

I left Grasse knowing I couldn’t just create a personal perfume—I had to create a fragrance brand with a purpose. I wanted to help others connect with their own memories and stories through scent.

That was the beginning of STORIES Parfums.
