STORIES Parfums is seeking a Digital Marketing Manager to join our expanding team. We are looking for a highly creative and driven individual who is passionate about pursuing a career in Digital Marketing Management.

The role is based in-house at our new Newtownards, Co. Down location and will be responsible for reporting to our Founder & CEO. As a Digital Marketing Manager, your primary responsibility will be to develop and execute digital marketing strategies, which will include managing social media accounts and running social media advertisements. You will also be responsible for creating social media plans that focus on expanding the community and increasing engagement. Your role will involve contributing towards the development of broader content and paid media strategies that align with the overall marketing objectives.

 The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing social media calendars and creating brand-aligned assets. They should be able to work efficiently under pressure and adapt to changes. Additionally, the candidate should have experience working collaboratively in a team and demonstrate a willingness to mentor and develop the team. The ideal candidate should have a strong passion for luxury fragrances and beauty and be proactive, self-motivated, and enthusiastic about their work.

 YOU WILL 

  • Create digital campaigns to engage target audiences and motivate them towards specific goals.
  • Strategic planning and implementation of social media content calendars that align with business goals. Maintaining a brand tone of voice and identity.
  • Creating briefs and strategies, developing and executing high-quality digital marketing campaigns, including social media and paid advertising, and producing content and calendars that achieve brand awareness, lead generation, sales, and award recognition results.
  • Ensure the highest-quality content is being posted, have a critical eye for grammar and aesthetics, and ensure the brand tone of voice is aligned.
  • Take a leading role in the day-to-day management of our social media channels.
  • Use digital marketing strategies to drive traffic and create an invaluable customer experience.
  • Strong copy-writing skills .
  • Developing effective user funnels and ensuring conversion points are optimised.
  • Implementing the company’s SEO strategy in marketing initiatives
  • Be an enthusiastic team player passionate about developing impactful campaigns and creating engaging content that leaves a lasting impression.
  • Have a thorough understanding of the influencer community and manage and develop influencer marketing, affiliate & ambassador programs.
  • Establish measurable performance benchmarks, generate actionable reports, and provide innovative solutions that align with key objectives.
  • Collaborate with the Founder & CEO and marketing team on the concept, development and implementation of digital marketing plans. 
  • Analysing digital metrics to identify and review trends and insights and using the data to optimise performance.
  • Reporting on the performance of digital marketing processes and providing actionable insights by tracking goals such as ROI and key performance indicators (KPI).
  • Support writing and updating website content, journals, and digital PR.
  • Have expertise in the latest digital technologies and techniques. 
  • Representing STORIES at brand events and trade shows globally.
  • A team player in a young brand with a growing team where everyone supports one another in various roles.

 YOU MUST HAVE 

  • A minimum of 2 year’s experience working in social media marketing in an agency or for a brand.
  • Proficiency in managing all major social media platforms and marketing channels.
  • Previous experience in paid social media advertising.
  • Excellent understanding of the importance of trending topics, user experience and user habits.
  • Excellent data and metric analysis abilities.
  • Good time management and organisational skills with the ability to delegate and prioritise work across multiple projects.
  • Proven ability to establish targets and manage budgets.
  • Competency in using Office 365, Excel, Word and various marketing software, such as Google Business Tools, Google Analytics, Adobe Suite, Later (or similar), and Klaviyo.
  • The ability to identify trends and interpret content.
  • A natural flare for content creation in a business and a proven skillset. 
  • A proactive work ethic.
  • Creativity and an understanding of the importance of visual aesthetics with attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management, communication and organisation skills, including written and oral.
  • Good problem-solving skills and a self-starter.
  • The ability to work well under pressure and to make quick, sensible decisions.
  • Commercial awareness.
  • Self-motivation to successfully achieve deadlines and goals.
  • Fluent level of English, both spoken and written.

 

PREFERABLE BUT NOT ESSENTIAL

  • A bachelor's degree in Marketing or Business. 
  • Level 3 diploma in Digital Marketing or similar.
  • Certification in Google Analytics and Google AdWords or other similar digital marketing analytics qualifications is not essential. 
  • Experience in SEO/ PPC / Google
  • Experience in Looker Studio and Data Visualisation.
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Experience in management or leadership roles.

STORIES Parfums is an olfactory ode to the memories that have shaped founder Tonya’s life. It was only after a transformative trip to the heart of perfume-making in Grasse, France, that she realised the power of fragrance to heal, release locked memories and transcend personal tragedy. Spurred on by this discovery, STORIES Parfums was born. Using the best raw materials and time-honoured traditional methods, Tonya created each fragrance to capture a moment and unlock a memory significant to her. Each bottle is a narrative woven together by a carefully orchestrated balance of notes;

as our name suggests, it is a story in aromatic form.

Our fragrances were created by one woman in homage to her stories, but they are just the beginning; as with all good stories, they need a middle and an end. We like to think of it as though we picked up the pen; now it’s up to you to write the rest.
